Mold Protective Agent is a coating used on the surface of tire rubber product molds to form a film that reduces friction, lubricates, is stain resistant, and heat resistant, thereby reducing mold cleaning times, prolonging mold cleaning cycles, and improving production efficiency.

Specialties

1. Convenient construction, customers can construct on their own without the need to transport the molds to the co production factory for special processing. After the normal sandblasting operation of the mold, it can be constructed and solidified into a solid protective layer at 180 ℃.

2.The protective layer formed by this product has a longer anti pollution effect on the mold, and the washing cycle (inner tube) can be extended by more than twice the time. Improved efficiency, reduced the trouble of frequent disassembly and assembly of molds, and also extended the service life of molds. The surface of products (tires) is glossy and beautiful.

3. After the construction of Mold Protective Agent , the mold has good demolding performance and can be sprayed with no or less Mold Release Agent. The release agent will not remain on the surface of the product, making it more convenient for secondary processing of the product surface..

4. The protective layer formed by the product has a certain exhaust effect, which is conducive to the flow of the rubber material and reduces the defective exhaust during vulcanization.

Application Methods

1.Substrate pretreatment: sandblasting

1.1 80 # -120 # carborundum can be used to improve the substrate roughness by Ra2.5u-3.5u.
1.2 Clean the floating sand and ash with kerosene, gasoline, or alcohol to ensure the cleanliness of the mold.
1.3 Cool the mold to room temperature to prepare for spraying protective agent.

2.Preparation of protective agents:

Shake well before use and filter with a 100 mesh filter.

3.Spraying and heating:

3.1 Use a spray gun with a nozzle diameter of 0.5mm.
3.2 Spray pressure 6-8kg, spray distance 60cm.
3.3 Spray evenly in the cold mold state, one circle clockwise and then one circle counterclockwise. To prevent sagging, the mold can be placed upside down.
3.4 After spraying, the mold should wait for the coating to dry (it should not be baked just after spraying the protective agent to prevent the formation of pores on the surface).
3.5 Bake at 180 ℃ -200 ℃ for 2 hours.

4.If the protective agent is not used up, it should be immediately sealed and stored in a cool place.           5.After spraying, the construction tools can be cleaned with ethanol or clean water for future use.
